The Annual Meeting will be held on April 29, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Black Elementary. An invitation will be mailed to all owners prior to the meeting. The purpose of this letter is to ask for volunteers for the board.
There are five positions on the board. Two positions on the Board of Directors will be open for election at the annual meeting. There are no specific qualifications for the board but it is important to elect members who will represent the general interests of the community as a whole.
The board has broad authority and responsibility for the management of the association, its financial affairs, maintenance of assets and enforcement of the deed restrictions related to community affairs and maintenance. Please reference the by-laws and deed restrictions posted the webpage at www.villagesongrant.com for additional information on roles and responsibilities. Note, board members are not compensated for their service to the community.
If you want to be considered for election to one of these positions at the upcoming meeting and to have your name and related biographical information included in the meeting invitation please forward the following information to our management company, ACMI, no later than April 11, 2019, via e-mail to info@acmimgmt.com. If this information is not received by ACMI by, or before, April 11 you will not be included on the ballot. You will still be able to run as a write-in candidate at the meeting.
• Name
• Address of property you own
• Brief biographical summary to highlight your background to other members who may not know you personally
• A brief discussion of ideas you see as key for the community
Please note that the biographical information will be condensed to be no longer than about 1/3 of a typed page so it will be best if you do that editing yourself before submission.
We look forward to an informative meeting and to significant interest from members through volunteering to support the community through participation on the board or committees.
Regards,
